Beauty Culture investigates our obsession with beauty and the influence of photographic representations on female body image. Film subjects hail from diverse points on the beauty landscape. Fashion photographers, child pageant stars, bodybuilders, teenagers, and intellectuals engage in a provocative dialogue that addresses the persistent “beauty contest” of daily life.

Recently saw the documentary Beauty Culture by Lauren Greenfield, where I found myself 20 feet tall on a movie screen at the Tribeca Film Festival. Interesting being filmed through a two way mirror by a movie crew while applying makeup!
Synopsis
Check out my lovely client Leelee Sobieski at The CHANEL Artist Dinner last night during the Tribeca Film Festival 2012. I applied the gorgeous new Spring Makeup Collection provided by CHANEL. Loved the stunning lip color- Rouge Allure in Coquette!
Leelee Sobieski’s ingenious eye makeup trick that makes her blue peepers POP
Leelee’s makeup was a look I created for her attendance at the Metropolitan Opera, and compliments the bold, arty and edgy Japanese print dress she wore that evening.
Check out our story we did with Leelee for Bullett Magazine!
